People who don’t like to bet are quick to find fault with aggression. This means that they could put you on quad Aces, an 8-2 offsuit, or anywhere in between whenever you raise. Secondly, when you raise, your opponents’ reactions will help clue you in on what hands they’re holding. Most likely, anyone who’s got a weak hand will fold, leaving the confident players in the hand, so you know that whoever is left playing has a decent hand.
