Leona Lewis Song for Avatar Movie Is Released Online

Last month we heard that Leona Lewis would be singing the theme song for Avatar, in a similar fashion to what Celine Dion did for Titanic over a decade ago. Well the song is now online, and while it might not become one of the biggest selling singles in history, it doesn’t sound that bad.

Some fans and movie sites have said they aren’t too keen on the song, however love power ballads are rarely targeted towards the online geek demographic. The song is one for the females, and I think that was Cameron’s aim.

In other Avatar news the final runtime for the film is apparently 161 minutes and 34 seconds, so just under three hours. This means you’ll be hearing the song above during the credits as your ass regains conciousness.

The official Avatar song is now available for your discerning ears. The track is called “I See You” and is performed by international singing sensation Leona Lewis.

If you don’t know who Leona Lewis is, should you care? No. She won a Simon Cowell talent show in the UK in 2007 then went on to have the fastest selling UK single, to sell 6.5 million albums worldwide and be a three time Grammy Award nominee.
