Lady Gaga Could Become a Judge on USA X-Factor According to New Reports
Lady Gaga has become the most recent star to be linked with a judging slot on the recently revamped US version of the X Factor. According to the Sun, X Factor creator Simon Cowell has been looking to bring in the Bad Romance star as one of the judges for the show, scheduled to start later in the year.
A source said to the paper : “Simon thinks Lady Gaga is great and actually is keen on her energy. “Conversations have been occurring between Cowell’s US team and her folks about what type of role she may have on the show.” Other celebs to once have been mooted as feasible judges have included Cowell’s fellow judge on American Idol Paula Abdul and X Factor UK judge Cheryl Cole.
Piers Morgan, Kelly Rowland and Mel B have also been discussed. The Lady Gaga Bad Romance music video realease caused some debate last year with its ridiculous style and fashion.
The United Kingdom version of the X Factor starts a live tour the month after next, beginning at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on Feb fifteenth.
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga brings her Monster Ball world tour to Britain on Feb 18th at the MEN Arena in Manchester. Simon Cowell has asked Lady GaGa to join the US version of The X Factor, a statement claims. According to The Sun, the music mogul would like Lady GaGa to be a judge on the upcoming talent series, which may launch on Fox towards the end of 2011. it is assumed the ‘Bad Romance’ star would be too hard at it to commit to the show each week, implying another role for the crooner is also possible.
